CVS - Deals for Week of 8/10

Here's the best CVS deals I see for the week of 8/10:

Get $3 ECB's when you buy 1 package of Alavert @ 5.99. Use the 4.00 off 1 coupon found here and pay only 1.99 but get back 3 ECB's! Limit 1

Get $5 ECB's when you buy $10 worth of select candy. There are many different choices there.

Get $5 ECB's when you buy $15 worth of Energizer batteries. Use the 1.00 off 1 coupon from the 8/3 Smartsource to work some good deals there.

Get $5 ECB's when you buy $25 worth of select baby products. Products include Huggies diapers and wipes. Playskool wipes, Johnson baby products, Playskool tools and baby products, an umbrella stroller and Enfamil formula. This isn't a great deal, but if you need these products it could be a good deal with coupons.

Those are the best deals I see at this point. Don't forget to do the August monthly deals found here if you haven't done them yet. And as always, please share any deals you find as well!

I'm new to the whole "couponing" and "CVS-ing."

I noticed that CVS has the Soleil razors for $4.99, and there's a $3 off coupon. My inexperience would make me think $1.99 is a good deal, but I'd like the opinion of more knowledgeable shoppers!

And what about the Soft & Dri and Right Guard? It's BOGO. So can you use one coupon (.75 or $1 in the paper) for each one? And is that a good deal?

Thanks in advance!

Actually you can get the Soleil razors for $0.99 at Walgreens this week since they have them for $5.99 - $2.00 Walgreens Easy Saver coupon - $3.00 coupon from the 8/10 paper.

Yes, both Soleil deals are good. If you're paying only a fraction of what something normally costs or what you would pay before you were "couponing" then by my standards it's a great deal. I used to walk in and buy whatever cereal we wanted (although I did usually go for the ones that were on sale), but now I go for ones I can get super cheap with sales and coupons combined so that makes me feel like I'm getting a great deal. It's kind of in the eye of the beholder I guess!!

The Soft & Dri and Right Guards will be good deals as long as your cashier allows you to use two coupons. Some people have trouble with it, and others have no trouble at all. I've done it many times using two coupons and it has always worked out for me, but I can't guarantee it'll work.
