CVS - Coppertone Deal

Here's an update on a CVS deal.  It has been reported that the Coppertone Water Babies Sunblock sticks are priced at 4.99 and work for the buy 2 Coppertone products and get $10 ECB's back.  So they would be free!!  Limit 1

Meijer - My trip (6/29)

I thought you might enjoy seeing my Meijer trip from this evening.  I spent a total of 26.16 for 87.98 worth of groceries for a savings of 70%.

Here's what I got:

*10 Lysol Antibacterial Kitchen Cleaners.  Sale price 1.03.  Used ten .50 off 1 coupons.  Paid .03 each or .30 total.

*4 Lysol Antibacterial Wipes.  Sale price 1.29.  Used four 1.00 off 1 coupons.  Paid .29 each or 1.16 total.

*2 Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaners (wanted more, but that's all they had left!).  Sale price 1.04.  Used two .75 off 1 coupons.  Paid .04 each or .08 total.

*1 Lysol All Purpose Cleaner.  Sale price 1.39.  Used .50 off 1 coupon.  Paid .39.

*2 Solo Grips 12pack of plates (saving for daughters Birthday party).  Sale price 2.00.  Used two .75 off 1 coupon.  Paid 1.00 each or 2.00 total.

*6 cans of Meijer vegetables.  Sale price .50.  Paid 3.00 total.

*1 A-1 Marinade.  Sale price 2.00.  Used 1.00 off 1 coupon.  Paid 1.00.

*3 Post Fruity Pebbles Cereal.  Sale price 1.69.  Paid 5.07.

*2 Gallons of milk.  Sale price 2.49.  Got 1 free because I bought 3 Post cereals.  Paid 2.49 total.

*1 Hungry Jack Pancake Syrup.  Sale price 3.35.  Used .55 off 1 coupon.  Paid 2.35.

*2 Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Whole Wheat Egg Noodles.  Sale price 1.33.  Paid 2.67 total.

*2 Super Pretzel Pretzfils.  Sale price 1.67.  Used two .75 off 1 coupons.  Paid .67 each or 1.34 total.

*2 Minute Maid Lemonades.  Sale price 1.00.  Used .55 off 2 coupon.  Paid 1.00 total.

*1 lb of deli ham.  Paid 2.75.

*6 slices of deli cheese.  Paid 1.32.

*2 gala apples.  Paid 1.50.

*2 peaches.  Paid .65.

*4 bananas.  Paid .89.

Plus I used the 5.00 off your next order coupon from the Planters deal.

I think I did pretty well.  I was happy with only spending 26 bucks!

Kroger - Deals for 6/30

Here's the Cincinnati area Kroger deals for the week of 6/30-7/6.

Basically, the ad is the same as last week.  It's really just a copy and paste week.  The Daytona 500 Deal is the same and lots of other deals are the same, but here they are:

Lawry's Marinades are on sale for 1.00. We have coupons from 3 different inserts all making it free. We have .50 off 1 coupons (doubled to 1.00) from the 4/6, 5/18 and 6/22 Redplum inserts!! Yay!!

Here's details on the Daytona 500 special where you buy 10 participating products and get 3.00 off your order. You just purchase any 10 (mix or match) participating items and then 3.00 will automatically come off your bill. Since you save 3.00 on ten items, I just take .30 off the price of each item (3.00/10) to see what the price will be after the deal. You can use coupons on top of that price for an even better deal. And you are allowed to do 3 deals per order (30 products) and then get 9.00 off your order if you do all 3, or 6.00 off if you do 2 deals in an order, or 3.00 off if you do 1 deal in an order.

Oreo Cookies and Ritz Crackers on sale for 2.50 each. So those will be 2.20 after the 10 deal.

Totino's pizza rolls and party pizzas on sale for 1.00. After 10 deal only .70 each.

Kellogg's Cereal, Poptarts or Go-Tarts priced at 2.49. So 2.19 each after deal.

Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks priced at 1.67. That's 1.37 after the deal. Plus we have coupons for this one!! Fruit Roll-Ups and Fruit Gushers are part of the deal, so we can use the .50 off 2 coupons from the 6/15 Smartsource, plus there are printables here, here and here, all totaling 1.00 off 2 when doubled, so you'll pay 1.74 for two boxes which is .87 each! AND when you buy 5 or more in one order, you'll get a Catalina (coupon that prints at the register) for $3.50 off your next order!! That makes it an awesome deal on those!

Chef Boyardee Pasta priced at 1.00. So .70 each after the deal, plus once again we have coupons. We have .35 off 3 (doubled to .70) from the 5/18 Smartsource, so when you buy three, you'll pay 1.40 for all three, which is .47 a piece!

Manwich is priced at 1.00, so .70 after the deal.

Banquet Dinners and Brown'n Serve Sausage is priced at 1.00, so .70 each after the deal.

Lloyd's BBQ is on sale for 3.99. Use the 1.00 off 1 for the Lloyd's from the 5/18 Smartsource to get it for 2.99, then 2.69 after the deal.

Purex Ultra Concentrate Laundry Detergent is on sale for 2.50. Use the .50 off 1 coupon from the 5/18 Smartsource to get it for 1.50 each, then only 1.20 after the deal!!

Shedd's Spread Country Crock 45oz is on sale for 1.99. Use the .25 off 1 to get it for 1.49, then 1.19 after the deal.

Ragu pasta sauce is priced at 1.58 for the jars. After the deal price they will be 1.28 Use the coupons from the 5/18 Redplum insert and if you haven't used the Unilever loadable coupons found here yet, use those too. Here's prices after the deal:

Kroger peanut butter is priced at 2.50 and then 2.20 after the deal.

Betty Crocker Supreme Brownies are 1.99, then 1.69 after the deal. Plus there is a .50 off 2 coupon found here and one in the 6/29 Smartsource insert, which would make the price for 2 = 2.38

Scott 1000 12 pack of toilet paper is sale priced at 6.99, then 6.69 after the deal.

Sparkle 6 pack of paper towels is sale priced at 5.79, then 5.49 after the deal. Plus use the .50 off 1 coupon from the 5/18 Smartsource to get them for 4.49.

Klondike Ice Cream Bars are priced at 2.99, then 2.69 after the deal.

Breyers Ice Cream is priced at 2.27, then 1.97 after the deal.

Hefty Garbage bags are sale priced at 5.99 (it's a big box), then 5.69 after the deal. Use the .75 off 1 coupon from the 5/18 Redplum insert (note, these will not double to 1.00 because the first number under the barcode is a 9. If it's a 5 it will double), you'll then pay 4.94.

I found a Jell-O display at the end of an aisle, with the small boxes of Jell-O on sale for .50 each. There was also coupons attached to the display for .50 off 3 boxes which doubles to 1.00. Plus, as a part of the display, there were little sand pails with shovels that you can get free when you buy 6 boxes of the Jell-O. So I got 6 boxes, used 2 coupons and got a free shovel and pail all for only 1.00!!

Moneysavingmom posted about this great coupon found here which gives you $3 off any Planters product after you buy 3 Kraft, Nabisco or Oscar Mayer products. So today, I went out to Meijer to try to work a really great deal with it and here's what I got:

I bought 12 packs of Jell-O = 6.00
I bought 4 cans of Planters nuts (2 peanuts, and 2 cashews) = 15.76
Total = 21.76

Freschetta Large pizzas are price dropped to 3.98, plus we have coupons for .75 off 1 from the 3/30 Smartsource which makes them only 2.98 for the really big pizzas.

Oscar Mayer Deli Shaved Ham or Turkey is buy one get one free. The ad says save 3.69, so we can assume then you'll be paying 3.69 for two. We have coupons for .55 off 1 from the 5/11 Smartsource. If you use 1 coupon, you'll pay 2.69 for two (which is 1.35 each) or if you can use 2 coupons (if the store allows), you'll get two for 1.69 (which is .85 a piece!) There is also a coupon here for .75 off 1. Thanks Amy!

Honey Nut Cheerios are buy one get one free, it doesn't mention a price, so I'm not sure. We got .50 off one coupons from the 6/15 Smartsource. So using one of those or two if your store allows, will probably make this a great deal!

Excedrin, Tylenol and Advil 50cts are also buy one get one free. There are coupons for:

CVS - July Monthly Deals

Here's the July ECB deals for CVS.  Remember once you reach the limit on these deals, that's it for the month!

Get .99 in ECB's when you buy CVS pantiliners 22ct @ .99.  So free after ECB's.  Limit 2

Get 1.49 in ECB's when you buy CVS tampons 5ct @ 1.49.  So free after ECB's.  Limit 2

Get $5 ECB's when you buy both Bic Soleil Razor AND 4 ct cartridges both priced at 6.99.  Use two of the 4.00 off 1 coupons from the 6/23 Smartsource.  So 2 @ 6.99= 13.98.  Minus 8.00 in coupons = paying only 5.98 in ECB's or cash and getting back $5 in ECB's.  Limit 4.  There is a rumor that this deal may not actually be as good because CVS may have packaged the razor and cartridges together and priced them at 13.98, which would only allow you to use one coupon.  However the picture in the ad, shows the items separate.  So we'll just have to see how this one goes.  

That's really all that's good that I see at this point.  It's a pretty slow month.  I guess they figure most people are out having fun in the summer, instead of shopping CVS.  I know I personally like to do both!!  But like, I said in the weekly post, I"ll keep looking for more and more deals, and please post any deals you find as well!

CVS - Deals for 6/29

Here's the CVS deals for 6/29-7/5.

Meijer - Planters and Kraft Products

Moneysavingmom posted about this great coupon found here which gives you $3 off any Planters product after you buy 3 Kraft, Nabisco or Oscar Mayer products.  So today, I went out to Meijer to try to work a really great deal with it and here's what I got:

I bought 12 packs of Jell-O = 6.00

I bought 4 cans of Planters nuts (2 peanuts, and 2 cashews) = 15.76

Total = 21.76

Cincinnati area Meijer's are having a 2 day sale this Friday and Saturday (June 27 and 28).  I did find a few good deals for it:

Oscar Mayer Deli Shaved Ham or Turkey is buy one get one free.  The ad says save 3.69, so we can assume then you'll be paying 3.69 for two.  We have coupons for .55 off 1 from the 5/11 Smartsource.  If you use 1 coupon, you'll pay 2.69 for two (which is 1.35 each) or if you can use 2 coupons (if the store allows), you'll get two for 1.69 (which is .85 a piece!)  There is also a coupon here for .75 off 1.  Thanks Amy!

Honey Nut Cheerios are buy one get one free, it doesn't mention a price, so I'm not sure.  We got .50 off one coupons from the 6/15 Smartsource.  So using one of those or two if your store allows, will probably make this a great deal!

Meijer - Skyline, Jell-O, Freschetta and Lean Cuisine

I finally got to Meijer today and found a few good deals in the store.  

Our Meijer (Fields-Ertel) had the cans of Skyline chili on sale for 1.88.  That's the cheapest I've seen for those and my son LOVES Skyline, so that's much cheaper than going out to the restaurant!!

Kroger - Betty Crocker Fruit Roll-Ups

In case you missed it in the comments section, Jenny from Mommin' It Up posted that she went to Kroger and bought 8 of the Betty Crocker Fruit Roll Ups included in the Daytona 500 Deal and got a Catalina (a coupon that prints out at the register) for 3.50 off her next order!!  She said the coupon states that this deal runs until 7/13.  Buy 3 get 1.50, buy 4 get 2.50, buy 5 or more get 3.50. 

So if you buy 6 sale priced at 1.67 each, plus 4 other participating products, you'll then get .30 off each product (10 products x .30 = 3.00 off) making the fruit roll ups only 1.37.  Then use three .50 off 2 coupons from the 6/15 Smartsource insert, or use the printable ones found here, here or here to get 1.00 off each 2 boxes, once the coupons double. 

Here's a better illustration:

6 Boxes = 10.02

6 x .30 (Daytona 500 deal discount) = -1.80

Use 3 coupons = -3.00

Pay 5.22

Get back 3.50!!  Which you could use to do the deal again, as long as you have more coupons!! 

So if you subtract the 3.50 (which is the way my brain works!!) you're only paying 1.72 for 6 boxes which equals .29 a piece!! 

That's a great price on those fruit roll ups and they are great for goodie bags at parties or even to fill a pinata!!

Kroger - Hungry-Man

The Kroger in Mason (on Mason-Montgomery Rd) had the Hungry-Man dinners marked down to 1.00 yesterday!  That alone is a great price, but when you use the coupon found here (you have to sign up for the sweepstakes), they will be free!  Hopefully other Krogers are doing this deal as well.  Please let us know if the Kroger in your area has that price.

Kroger - Cottonelle Toilet Paper

Kroger has the Cottonelle toilet paper 4 packs priced at .99.  Use the .25 off 1 coupon from the 6/22 Smartsource and only pay .49 a piece!

Meijer - Frank's Red Hot

Meijer has the Franks Red Hot Sauce regularly priced at 1.00.  Use the .50 off 1 coupon from the 5/18 Smartsource and it's free!!

Target - Ziploc Bags

I know the posts have been very long this week, so here's a short one for ya!!  Target has in the checkout lanes, 25ct of Ziploc Sandwich bags for 1.00.  We have 1.50 off any 2 Ziploc bags coupons from the 6/8 Smartsource, which would make it .50 for 2 bags which is .25 a piece!  I got 6 packages today and yes, the coupons beeped, I don't know why, but the cashier just pushed them through because there's no reason why they shouldn't work.  So that's just a little disclaimer there.  

Kroger - Daytona 500 Deals Updated

Here's what I found to be included in the Daytona 500 ,buy 10 products get $3.00 off your order deal.  In case you're a little confused about how this works, here's some more details.  You just purchase any 10 (mix or match) participating items and then 3.00 will automatically come off your bill.  Since you save 3.00 on ten items, I just take .30 off the price of each item (3.00/10) to see what the price will be after the deal.  You can use coupons on top of that price for an even better deal.  And you are allowed to do 3 deals per order (30 products) and then get 9.00 off your order if you do all 3, or 6.00 off if you do 2 deals in an order, or 3.00 off if you do 1 deal in an order.  Does that make  sense?  I hope so!!

Here's the Cincinnati area Kroger deals for the week of 6/23.

*Freebie alert*  Lawry's Marinades are on sale for 1.00.  We have coupons from 3 different inserts all making it free.  We have .50 off 1 coupons (doubled to 1.00) from the 4/6, 5/18 and 6/22 Redplum inserts!!  Yay!!

Kroger is also running a Daytona 500 special where you buy 10 participating products and get 3.00 off your order.  They only have a few listed in the ad, so I'll check those out today and let you know what I find.  As long as you buy 10 of the participating products, you can subtract .30 from each items price to see what your final cost will be.  In the ad they have:

Oreo Cookies and Ritz Crackers on sale for 2.50 each.  So those will be 2.20 after the 10 deal.

Totino's pizza rolls and party pizzas on sale for 1.00.  After 10 deal only .70 each.

Kellogg's Cereal, Poptarts or Go-Tarts priced at 2.49.  So 2.19 each after deal.

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese 5packs priced at 3.49, so 3.19 after the deal.

Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks priced at 1.67.  That's 1.37 after the deal.  Plus we have coupons for this one!!  The picture shows Fruit Roll-Ups as being part of the deal, so we can use the .50 off 2 coupons from the 6/15 Smartsource, plus there are printables here, here and here, all totaling 1.00 off 2 when doubled, so you'll pay 1.74 for two boxes which is .87 each!  That's a great price for those!

Chef Boyardee Pasta priced at 1.00.  So .70 each after the deal, plus once again we have coupons.  We have .35 off 3 (doubled to .70) from the 5/18 Smartsource, so when you buy three, you'll pay 1.40 for all three, which is .47 a piece!

Manwich is priced at 1.00, so .70 after the deal.

Banquet Dinners and Brown'n Serve Sausage is priced at 1.00, so .70 each after the deal.

Ok, that is all I see for now, HOWEVER, I think the Purex, Lloyd's BBQ and Shedd's Spread are included in the Daytona sale because the pictures of them in the ad, show a label on the product with Daytona 500 on it.  The ad, does not say they are included, but I'm guessing they are.  So if they are, you can subtract .30 from each products price for an even better deal!  I'll let you know later for sure!

Kroger - Price Updates for the Week of 6/16

I stopped by Kroger today and found some of the prices for this week.  

Oscar Mayer hotdogs are 2.99 for wieners and 4.29 for beef franks.  They are buy one get one free and we got .50 off 1 coupons from the 6/15 Smartsource.  *Tip* Give the cashier your coupons before they scan your plus card.  Then you'll be able to use two coupons for buy one get free deals with no problem.

The Revlon cosmetics and beauty tools range in price from .90 to 6.99 after the half price discount.  Using some of the many coupons we have those are great deals.

The Nature Made Vitamins range in price from 4.19 to 30.99.  They are also buy one get one free.  After the 1.50 off 1 coupon from the 6/1 Smartsource, this could be a great deal if you need vitamins.

Meijer - Red Gold Tomatoes

Red Gold Tomatoes are on sale this week in the Cincinnati Meijer's for for .67 each.  Use the .75 off 2 coupon found here to get them for .17 each!

CVS - Oral-B Cross Action Power Toothbrush

Ok, apparently the Oral-B Cross Action Power Toothbrushes are a great deal at CVS as well.  When you buy one at 5.99, you get 3 ECB's back.  So here's the way to make it a great deal:

Buy 2 toothbrushes = 11.98

Use buy one get one free coupon from 6/15 Smartsource = -5.99

Pay 5.99 in cash or ECB's.

Get back 6 ECB's (3 for each toothbrush)

So after ECB's and coupon they are free.

The limit is 5 on this deal, so you can do the above mentioned idea twice and then for the last one buy two more toothbrushes, use the buy one get one free coupon and only get back 3 ECB's, so you'll pay out $3 for the last one.  Or if you want to do them all at once:

Buy 6 toothbrushes = 35.94

Use 3 coupons = -17.97

Pay 17.97 in cash or ECB's

Get back 15 ECB's.  So out of pocket only 2.97 for 6 toothbrushes.  Those make great gifts and so inexpensively!!

Pay 5.50

Get back 5.50 in register rewards to use later.

That seems like a great deal on power toothbrushes!
