Kroger - P&G Super Saver Event

Edited to add that technically the $5 off reward is for other items in your transaction, so just be sure to have at least $5 worth of other products in your order!!

Starting Monday, Kroger is having a P&G Super Saver Event. If you buy $25 worth of select P&G products, you'll get $5.00 off your order automatically at checkout. By combining paper coupons (new ones coming out this weekend, 12/28) and e-coupons found here, we can make a couple of pretty good deals. Now keep in mind, you'll have to do these deals by Wednesday as the e-coupons expire 12/31.
Here's a few deals I found.

Pantene Hair Care Products are 3.29. Use the buy one shampoo or conditioner and get a styler free e-coupon, plus the 3.00 off 2 coupon from the 12/28 P&G insert. You'll pay .29 for two products before the 5.00 discount.

Cascade is 3.99. Use the .50 off 1 e-coupon and the .50 off 1 coupon from the 12/28 P&G insert to pay 2.49.

Dawn Simple Pleasures Dishwashing Detergent is 2.50. Use the .50 off 1 coupon from the 12/28 P&G insert to pay 1.50.

Crest Pro Health Toothpaste is 2.50. Use the 1.00 off 1 e-coupon and the .50 off 1 coupon from the 12/28 P&G insert to pay .50.

Cover Girl Cosmetics are 25% off. If you buy two mascaras around 8.00 each, they'll be 6.00 each after the 25% discount. Use the buy one get one free e-coupon and two 1.00 off 1 coupons from the 12/28 P&G insert to pay 4.00 for two.

So if you buy:
2 Pantene products (1 shampoo or conditioner and 1 styler)
1 Cascade Dishwashing Detergent
1 Dawn Simple Pleasures Dishwashing Detergent
1 Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste
2 Covergirl Mascaras

You're total before any discounts will be around 27.57 (guessing on the price of mascara). You'll then get your 5.00 discount making it 22.57. Then if you use all of the above mentioned coupons you'll get another 18.79 off, leaving only 3.78 to pay!!! For 7 products, that's a great price!! It comes out to .54 a product!!

I think that's a pretty great deal!!

I'm sure there are other deals in the store, just look for the shelf tags.

If you sign up on Cottonelle's website, they periodically email you $1.00 off printable coupons. You can then use them on the $.99 4pk rolls at Kroger.

I am making my "run" tonight - we'll see how it goes!

Did you already do this deal? I believe the ad said that the $5 is off of the NON-P&G items. Meaning you would pay the "after coupon" price for each and then get $5 in "other" free stuff. Does that make sense?
